*By the time Kitane has returned with the power core, Machete seems to have passed out, leaning back against the car. After a half hour passes Machete begin to mumble and move around, apparantly dreaming* [i]*inside the dream, its is a flashback to the first zombie event back on the island in the pacific*[/i] [i]Mark (Machete pretransformation): Youve got to be kidding me, right? Zombies? And you're sure?[/i] [i]Scientist: Hey, im paying you to guard me not mock me, and yes, that was a zombie that you just killed, so please don't go berzerk and start killing of the locals, ok?[/i] [i]Mark: You have got to be joking... zombies... dammit man i thought I'd just have to scare away some locals, you never told me you were bringing me to some freaky radioactive island.[/i] [i]Scientist: Well what ever that compound is it doesnt seem to be affecting anything aside from the animals, its still too early to tell if it caused this zombifying virus, but i certainly wouldn't count it out. We really should just collect a sample of the material, a sample of this zombie, and head back to the states.[/i] [i]Mark: I'm fine with that[/i] [i]*They head back into the woods to retrieve the a sample of the strange compound found in the crater in the middle of jungle. Upon approaching it, several zombies break through the woods, both go for Mark. He gets a clear shot to the head on the one, but the other knocks him down. Mark drops his M9 and kicks the zombie off him, pulls out his machete and takes a swing and nails it in the head. He pick up his M9, and looks around, and sees the scientist being hauled off by 2 zombies... wait... are they zombies? zombies dont lift and carry people. Suddenly Mark is hit in the side and falls into the crater right onto the compound. the last thing he sees is a tiger that appears to have pounced him lying next to him, both of them nearly immediatly passing out from the compound*[/i] *Machete shoots awake* He might still be alive! Maybe they didnt steal our boat, maybe he thought I was dead and left with the aid of the locals.... dammit all this time i thought he died! *racks his brain to try to figure this out, and is struck by another flashback from the hospital* [i]*Machete stands at the bedside of Andrew, partially transformed into a bear and wrapped in bandages after a surgery and currently unconcious*[/i] [i]Doctor: He was up earlier after he woke from the anestesia, but during the operation his hands did some transforming, and when he looked at his now paws he passed out again. He will probably be up a little later, its probably good that he rest for now.[/i] [i]Machete: Yea... alright *checks his watch* ill be back in an hour or two I guess, if he wakes up can you let him know I was hear and that ill be back[/i] [i]Doctor: I'll besure the nurse knows to tell him.[/i] [i]*Machete walks out into the hallway and heads towards the stairs. when he exited the room he was just behind two doctors who were talking to eachother. One appeared to be transformed into a wolf, with the back of his head covered in black fur, and his paws coming out from under the coat donning black and yellow fur. The other doctor seemed to still be entirely human.[/i] [i]Doctor 1: You should probably expose yourself to some of the chemical, I don't know how much longer until I can solve this riddle.[/i] [i]Doctor 2: I suppose. Its only a matter of time until they finish mutating it to spread more wildly. Still, I'm sure they plan on making it affect the transformed as well.[/i] [i]Doctor 1: True, but chances are this cure will only work on the transformed anyway, provided a do figure it out. [/i] [i]*They continued walking to the cafeteria, where Machete was headed as well*[/i] [i]Doctor 2: So I heard alot of the transformed are changing their names as well[/i] [i]Doctor 1: Yes[/i] [i]Doctor 2: Are you considering it?[/i] [i]Doctor 1: Actually yes, I havent come up with a good name yet, but Kyle Benson doesn't sound much like a wolf, although i suspect i am still transforming, and Im probably more than a wolf based on what Ive seen[/i] [i]Doctor 2: Oh? What do you mean[/i] [i]Doctor 1: Well... *to far away to hear what they are saying. at the time Machete has heard so many transformation stories he grew bored of them and didnt bother tailing them any longer.[/i] *Machete's jaw drops. Kyle Benson, that was the name of the scientist he was escourting. He was back at the hospital... and he was a black and yellow wolf who was still transforming into someone else.* Hold on. *Machete gets up and heads over to the tent where kingbeast is, but stops before entering, trying to make sure he has his thoughts straight* King, I think we should have a talk This post was edited by Machete Tigre at January 14, 2012 11:18:00 AM PST

*raises eyebrow* eh, tents? Ok... works for tonight i guess, not quite sure how its safe against zombies though... *picks up and examines the tent, then looks over Kitane's tent* So they are the same model tent... so... yea I dont think Im gonna fit in this, let alone both King and I. Ill sleep in the car i guess *glancing around, after saying this, Machete has other reasons on his mind for not staying in a tent, and has no clue how a couple of tents by a small fire is zombie-proof. Plus the tent is actually pretty small, designed to hold at most two humans, Machete's proportions pretty much rule that out as a possibility, combining the size increase of the body coupled with the proportions of a human, Machete stands at around 10 feet tall, which is actually much smaller than the full capacity of a Siberian Anthro, who could grow to even 13 feet tall, and before you ask, yes, it is very hard to find new clothing, but luckily it has been awhile since the first incident, and the rapid number of anthros did cause clothing companies to broaden clothing designs, but generally Machete deals with pants ending at the last joint, figuring thats just something he will have to deal with since he is digitigrade now. Standing plantigrade, he drops his height about a foot and a half* Besides, i do need to move the driver's seat track back on the cop car. Ive done it twice before, once to my squad car and one to my personal car, both crown vics. driving is rather cramped. *Helps king set up the tent, then makes his way over to the car, pulls it up next to the tents, and gets to work removing the driver's seat, unbolting the tracks from the floor of the car, and moving them back, then turns to the driver's seat and removes the plastic bases around the underside, removes the metal spacing bars, takes two and cuts them in half with the welder, and reassembles the seat, and reinstalls it, the seat now practically up against the back seat, and around 8 inches lower. Though machete did almost clear the roof with the seat back a bit, he now could sit more upright, and still wear his hat. He sits down in the driver seat* Ahh much better *gets out, takes out his bag from the back of the crown vic, and produces some food and water scavenged from the mental ward survival room to add to the meal*

*Tosses bag into the backseat, and gets into the crown vic, starts the car, waits for kingbeast to get in, then follows kitane*

And id like to handle this concussion and partial amnesia without burying it in pain killers so i can be ready to fight at any moment... Id rather fortify a shelter and just relax for a moment, review my memories, and try to get my bearings. *yawns* And perhaps actual sleep, not being knocked unconscious, will do me some good with remembering everything

Before we leave, where are we headed? Because ideally we should set up shelter some place, unless you know something we... *looks at king and remembers how he was acting secretive as well*... I don't know, Kitane. Oh, and I did grab you something else while i was in there *pulls out the notebook full of instructions for creating clockwerk weapons, tools, etc, and hands it to Kitane* Also both of you should grab a silenced pistol as a backup, and we have plenty. *looks back to kitane* Where to?
