The boat sat in the harbour, bobbing in the tide and making it look as if it were anxious. The personification and only clue as to what Captain Noetis was feeling. She'd planned to have been off by now, but how could a captain pilot a ship without a crew? It was unheard of! "One would think," she said, pacing back and forth, "that they are afeared of me! Ha!" She stopped pacing abruptly and sat, the stood again, unsatisfied and antsy. "Of course of course! I'll off to land then, and see if I can rustle me up some body. After all, they can't all be homsey folk!" She mrched toward the dock quickly, hooves clopping in a rhythmic pace.
